If you’re a Tesco customer, you can nominate projects for Tesco Community Grants and vote in-store for shortlisted projects in our regular local competitions.
Nominate a project
Do you know a local project that needs a bit of support?
Let us know where it is and we’ll do our best to get in touch with the people that look after it to see if they would like to apply for a grant.
Please fill in our nomination form so we can find the right people to contact you.
Funding can support projects that benefit local communities. You can find out more by reading about what we’ve funded.
Vote for local projects
Three community projects in each local area will be voted on in Tesco stores throughout the UK, with projects changing every other month. You’ll be given a token when you buy your shopping that you can use to make your choice using the voting units in most stores.
More information
For us to be able to provide a grant to your nominated project we will need a constituted body to complete our application form, receive the grant and deliver the project. A constituted group could be the ‘Friends of Group’ or other community group, a local charity such as Fields in Trust, Keep Britain Tidy, Groundwork, greenspace scotland or the land owner of a project (Local Authority, social housing provider, parish council, etc).
It should be noted that for projects that make physical improvements, landowner permission will be needed for a project to be eligible for a grant. More information on landowner permission can be found here.
We will contact you within two weeks of receiving your nomination to discuss next steps. Some projects will have unclear landownership or be run by an unconstituted group, which may make it impossible to provide a grant for your nominated project. Unfortunately in some cases, even if we able to find a local constituted group, a project might not be viable or possible.
